Second story fifth part.

Last time.....
It made my really happy that Mindy got detention. I mean really! If I was a geeky girl I would of felt like I got punched in the stomach, but since I had known how mean they were I didn't care! I felt free! I loved being with Anna!


This time...

A few days later Anna and I were
playing tag in the park, and we saw something in the woods. It looked sort of like a bird but it was really big. It clearly was running away from something. We were really curious about it do we went into the woods. Ahead of us we saw a blue animal look at us and when it saw us it started to run away. Anna and I were almost sure that it was the dragon. It was fast, it was blue, it had wings, it was big, and it had silver horns. We chased after it until we got to the lake. The dragon had stopped to drink water. Since it was still we knew for sure that it was the famous Ice Dragon.
It had something hanging from it's neck. It had a key dangling from it. Anna quietly went up to the dragon, touched its side carefully and then untied the key. She handed it to me. The key said "27 ______St. Nome Alaska." the street name was all worn off so we couldn't see it. Me and Anna talked to each other about it and decided if they were going to go after the house. Anna thought it wasn't very practical, but I was determined. Finally I talked her into it. I called my dad and said that we might take longer than we thought. I didn't tell him why because I wanted to save the good news till dinner.
First Anna and I walked to Perkins St. We went to the house that had 27 written on the front and knocked. An older man opened the door and said "What do you want?" in a grumpy voice. Anna nudged me and then I said "We were wondering of you knew anything about this key." Anna took they key and showed it to him. He said "hmm. This metal is about 200 years ago so I know that this key is from around 1800. The only streets in Nome Alaska now that were in Nome Alaska then were Malatee St, Zerina Lane, and Fontier Circle. We thanked him and then left.
